“The fact that religions, which usually have at their core a promotion of tolerance and peace, have been exploited to carry out violence clearly indicates that individuals and groups have not discovered the true “peace message” that is inherent in almost every religion. ― David R. To some extent, the views many of us have about Christian-Muslim relations during the past decade have been shaped by news media coverage of attention-grabbing events and dramatic statements on both sides of a hateful nature.

If this information is all we have on which to make informed opinions about these relations, we are doomed to conflict between members of these religions.

Thankfully, however, there is much more to the story that we owe it to ourselves to become informed about that includes heroic efforts by followers of both religions to seek common ground and peacemaking.

This blog will attempt to give voice to that perspective and to promote dialogue about all viewpoints on this matter so we can all sort out the wheat from the chaff in this difficult time.

Please feel free to check in regularly and contribute your views and questions.
